This is an item modeled by twitter.com/bigbob_tf which I created textures, normals/sculpts, and did the UV unwraps for in november 2019
I started by taking his mesh, creating the UV unwraps for both materials, cleaning up topology to make it subsurf-friendly, and sculpting the resulting subsurfed mesh
I then baked object-space normal maps for the diffuse, as well as ambient occlusion. I also baked the normal maps for both materials. All the texturing thereafter was done by hand in GIMP for both materials.
